Memory Palace

a character study in reverse

A Memory Palace is a mnemonic system of imagining objects carefully organized in a room to aid recall. This is a story game where three players recall and relive a stranger's memories using imagined objects and random literary passages as prompts found in their subconscious.

This is a barebones, GM-less, high-improv game so feel free to expand upon it, introduce homebrew rules, or turn it into a LARP. Anything to inspire creativity and engage players. Character development relies heavily on speculation and debate among players so a support mechanism is strongly suggested to ensure everyone remains equally invested.

Here is a beta version if you wish to playtest. Feedback, suggestions, and hacks are welcome. But what I would really love is a record of the players' journey or a memoir of the stranger's life. If the response is positive enough I want to include an anthology of stories, art, and hacks.
